Case's Ladder Rules  <-- click here <-- click here

Rules

  1. The first team listed (top bracket) chooses their seats and sets the table.
  2. Booting the TD or any non-member will result in a DQ unless it is a "boot the TD" tournament.
  3. There are NO misbid resets. If a misbid occurs, it is a team DQ. Be sure to get the rules of the game clarified BEFORE bidding. The only exception to this rule is in the All 0D, Losers Win format - if a player accidentally opens his/her cards, a bid of nil or 13 will be allowed.
  4. Watch the table talk during game play. This means refrain from guiding your partner on how to play, such as comments like watch the bags, cover me, duck p, etc. Cheating will not be tolerated, nor will accusations of cheating without solid proof.
  5. If you have any problems, we ask that you get the TD involved immediately and take all discussion to private. Provide the TD in charge with any table or lobby chat that may be relevant in making a decision on the issue.
  6. Be sure to Pssst wins to the TD, including team name.
  7. In the case of a tie game, in all formats except All 0D, an additional hand will be played to determine the winner. In the All 0D format ONLY, bags will be counted in the case of a tie - In Losers Win - MOST BAGS WIN; In Winners Win - LEAST BAGS WIN.
  8. Boots - 5 minutes allowed per boot. Then, get a sub. 3 boots allowed per person, then sub will finish tourney. No subs allowed in bot tourneys. 10 minutes allowed before person is DQ'd.
  9. Members are allowed only one ID in the league, and no two members should use the same ID. Multiple IDs for the same person will be subject to removal from the league. In addition, members in the same household may play in, but not PARTNER together, in any tourney or ladder game.
  10. Members must register themselves for the league and for tourneys. If you are unable to register yourself, ask the TD in charge for help. Do not register anyone but yourself for tourneys, or share your password with anyone.
  11. The message forum is to be used for communicating information such as announcements, suggestions, requests, well wishes, and various other things members may want to share with the group. No personal attacks of ANY kind will be tolerated. Any post deemed to be a personal attack will be removed from the forum and the offender will have his/her forum privileges revoked.
  12. Last but not least, conduct considered to be detrimental to the fun and fairness of the league may result in the boxing and/or banishment of the offender at the discretion of the staff. Be respectful of all players in the room at all times, keep the public chat clean, practice good sportsmanship, and remember the reason you come to play - fun, friends, & a great game of spades!!

Each tournament can have additional rules. So, don't forget to check those too.
